Vigyaan Classes

Our classes are held in Modi Mansion, which is a well-known building on Shankar Sheth Road. We are right at the 7 Loves Chowk in Swargate, which is one of the busiest intersections in Pune. It’s very easy to find because everyone knows the landmark. Being in Swargate means there’s a lot of noise from the buses and cars outside, but the walls of Modi Mansion are thick enough to dull it down a bit. We’ve got a few classrooms set up with basic furniture. It’s a very functional space. We don’t have air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that we keep on high during the summer months. Students come here from all over because the transport links at Swargate are so good. We mostly deal with science subjects, hence the name Vigyaan. There’s no big fancy logo or marketing team behind us. It’s just us teachers and the students. We spend a lot of time at the board, drawing diagrams and solving equations. The hallway is often filled with bicycles parked by the kids. We’ve seen many batches pass through these doors over the years. Some days are long, especially when we have extra classes on weekends. We don't offer anything fancy, just a place to sit and learn what’s in the books. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for the people who come here. We just keep the doors open and start the lessons.
