Vidyasagar Classes

This branch of Vidyasagar Classes is tucked away in Shivaji Nagar, specifically around Kaveri Nagar. If you know the 5th A Main area, you know it can be a bit of a maze with all the small lanes. We are at 201/1187/69/2, which sounds like a complicated address, but most locals find us easily enough. We’ve set up the rooms to be as comfortable as possible for the students who come in after their regular school day. It’s a lived-in space. There are posters on the walls about grammar and science formulas that have been there for years. The floor has some scuff marks from all the chairs moving around. Teaching here is interesting because we get kids from all over the nearby streets. Sometimes it gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open, and you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—vendors calling out or people talking. It’s not a corporate office; it feels more like a study room at home. We spend a lot of time grading papers and explaining the same things over and over until it clicks for the kids. Sometimes we have tea in the back room while waiting for the next batch to arrive. It’s a routine we’ve grown used to. There is always a lot of chatter before the class starts, but once we sit down, it’s all about the books. We just want to make sure the students who come to us in Shivaji Nagar have a steady place to study and learn.
