We are situated near Muktai Ropvatika, right by the Muktai Dhaba in Narayangaon. This is in the Junnar taluka of Pune district. Versatile Agrofirst Farmer Producer Company Limited is exactly what the name suggests—a bunch of us farmers who decided to pool our resources. Our location is easy to spot if you’re driving near the dhaba. We don't have a fancy corporate headquarters. It’s a functional space where we meet up to discuss the crops and how to sell them. Most of our days are spent outdoors or in the nursery nearby. We deal with the everyday reality of farming, like pests, water, and market rates. There's always someone coming by with a tractor or a pickup truck. We don't use a lot of business jargon. We just talk about what's growing and what's not. The office is usually a bit messy with paperwork and muddy boots by the door. We started this because we realized that working together is better than struggling alone. Narayangaon is a good place for agriculture, and we’re just trying to make the most of it. We don't have a marketing department. If people need to find us, they just come down the road towards the Muktai nursery. It’s a simple setup, but it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We take things one day at a time.
