Venuvasant Agriventures Farmer Producer Company Limited

Venuvasant Agriventures is based at Satyagaon, in the Yeola area. We’re located at Hirabai Dnyaneshwar Avhad’s place. Satyagaon is a small village where everyone knows everyone else’s business, which is actually helpful for a farmer producer company. We started this because we saw how hard it was for individual farmers to get ahead. By joining together, we can share the burden a little bit. It’s not all sunshine and easy work; there are days when the paperwork feels like it’s never going to end. Yeola is famous for other things, but for us, it’s all about the land. We spend our mornings checking on the fields and our afternoons at the office dealing with the logistics of the business. It’s a family-oriented atmosphere here. You might see kids running around or someone bringing over food while we work. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything like that. We wear what we’d wear to the farm. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it’s completely quiet. We take it as it comes. We’re just trying to build something that lasts for our kids and the rest of the village. It’s about Satyagaon and the people who make this place home. We aren't experts in everything, but we know our soil and we know each other. The old wooden table in the office has seen better days, but it holds our plans just fine.
