We are located right near Nal Stop on Karve Road in Pune. If you know that area, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic and students from the nearby colleges. Our office is close to the Bank of India. It’s not a fancy place at all, just a spot where we gather to manage the farmer producer company. We spend a lot of time talking to local growers about their crops and the prices they are getting. It’s mostly just phone calls and paperwork, to be honest. Some days it feels like we are just chasing the weather or the market trends. We started Veetpadamini because it’s easier to handle things as a group than on your own. Most of us here grew up around farms, so we understand the struggle when the rain doesn't come or when there’s too much of it. We don't have a big team of marketing people or anything like that. It’s just us, sitting in the office, trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes the tea runs out or the internet goes slow, but we keep at it. Pune is a fast city, but the work we do with the farmers reminds us to slow down a bit. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just trying to make sure the work gets done and the farmers get a fair shake. If you're ever stuck in traffic near Nal Stop, you're pretty close to where we do our daily work.
