At Varun Tools & Components we operate out of the Bhosari Industrial Estate in section S/A 2/2. It is a busy part of the city where you can hear the sound of metal hitting metal all day long. We started this because we noticed people always needed specific tools that were hard to find nearby. Our shop is filled with bins and shelves holding everything from small screws to larger components for machinery. It isn't the cleanest place in the world because there is always some dust or grease from the items we stock. We don't really have a big staff just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If someone walks in looking for a specific part we usually find it by memory rather than looking at a computer. The layout of the industrial estate can be a bit confusing for newcomers so we often have to give directions over the phone. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy brochures. People usually find us because a friend told them we might have what they are looking for. It’s a practical way to run things and it has worked for us so far. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the whole building. We just keep our heads down and try to help anyone who stops by with a mechanical problem to solve.
