Varsha Novelties Gift House

Varsha Novelties Gift House is at 16 Kakade Park on West Park Road. We’ve been in Chinchwad for quite some time now. The shop is full of novelty items that you don't see everywhere. We have things like keychains, small home decor, and various gifts for birthdays. The shelves are wooden and some of them creak when you put something heavy on them. It’s a cozy space, maybe a little too small when we have more than four people inside at once. West Park Road is usually busy with people going to work or heading home. We see a lot of the same faces every day. I like to keep the front of the shop tidy, but the back area is where all the extra stock lives in messy piles. We don't have a fancy computer system for checking out. We just count it up and give change from the drawer. It works fine for us. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a few minutes while they are out for a walk in the evening. We’ve had this shop since the kids were small and living at home. Now they are grown up and have their own lives. It’s just a regular part of our daily routine. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. If someone needs a novelty gift, they know where to find us in Kakade Park. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in to browse the shelves.
