Varadaini Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based at Shri Balasaheb Eknath More’s place in Pangaon, which is part of Barshi in the Solapur district. The address is 1341 at the post office there. It’s a typical village setup where the business and the home life kind of blend together. We don't have a separate office building with a lobby. Instead, we sit in the main room or out in the shade when it’s too hot inside. Solapur is known for being quite warm, so we drink a lot of water and try to get the hard work done before noon. As a farmers producer company, our whole point is just to help the local growers in Pangaon. We spend our time checking on the quality of the grain or talking about the market prices in Barshi. There is always a lot of chatter and people coming in and out to ask questions or just to say hello. It’s not a formal place at all. You might find some farm equipment leaning against the wall where we keep our files. We just try to be honest about what we can do and help our neighbors out. It’s a lot of responsibility but since we all live here, we have a stake in making sure it works out okay. We don't use big words or fancy talk; we just deal with the reality of farming as it comes every day.
