Vaishnavrani Farmer Producer Company is located in Warud-1 Wathoda. We are set up at House Number 91, which is the home of Shri Dnyanedrakantibabu V Deshmukh. It’s a very local, village-style operation. We don’t have any big signs or fancy offices. Most people in Wathoda just know where we are because they’ve known us since we were kids. We are all farmers first and foremost. The company is just a way for us to work together on the business side of things. We deal with all the usual stuff like pests, the weather, and the rising cost of fertilizer. It’s a lot to manage sometimes. Shri Deshmukh’s place is our main meeting spot. We don't have a formal boardroom, we just sit in the main room or out front. We talk about who is planting what and how we can get a better price at the mandi. We don't use big words or corporate jargon. We just grow crops and try to sell them for a fair price. That’s really all there is to it. We have some files and a computer for the official stuff, but the real business happens out in the sun. It’s a practical life and we don't have any fancy mission statements.
