Vaishnavi Herbal Beauty Parlour

We are located at Survey No 1494 in the Akshaydeep CHS building. It is right on Tilak Road in Sadashiv Peth, which is a very traditional part of Pune. Being Vaishnavi Herbal Beauty Parlour, we do things a bit differently. We use a lot of powders and pastes made from plants and roots. You can usually smell the dried herbs when you walk inside the door. Our shop is not very big, but it is part of the housing society, so it feels very local and safe. We have a lot of regular ladies from Sadashiv Peth who do not like the chemical stuff you find in other places. The traffic on Tilak Road is always heavy, and you can hear the buses rumbling past the building all day long. We have a small sink, a couple of chairs, and shelves full of our herbal mixes in plastic jars. We spend a lot of time mixing things in small bowls. It is a quiet kind of work most of the time. We do not have loud music or bright neon lights. The floor is old tile, and we keep it as clean as we can. Sometimes the residents of Akshaydeep stop by just to chat for a minute. It is a nice community to be in. We open up in the morning after the temple bells have finished ringing nearby and we stay until the evening when the street lights come on. It is just us doing what we know.
