Our company, VACUUM PLANT & INSTRUMENTS MFG. CO. LTD., is based at 48-A in Mundhawa. If you are near the Seejan Mall or looking across from the Hadapsar Railway Station, you’ll find us easily enough. We’ve been manufacturing vacuum plants and various instruments at this location for many years. It’s a busy industrial area, and being right across from the station means there is always a lot of movement around us. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of machines. We aren't the type of people to sit in quiet offices; we are usually out on the floor making sure the manufacturing process is going as it should. It’s a hands-on kind of place. The air smells like metal and oil, and that’s just how we like it. We focus on the technical side of things, building plants that actually work for the people who buy them. There’s a lot of precision involved in what we do, so we spend a lot of time checking and re-checking the instruments. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make vacuum equipment. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve seen the Mundhawa area grow and change, but we’re still here at 48-A, just keeping the production lines moving and getting the orders out the door.
