If you find yourself on Dhole Patil Road in Pune, we’re in the Mahendra Chambers building, specifically in Mayfair A-4. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always plenty of places to grab a quick chai or something to eat during the day. Our office is where Uttam Energy Systems manages all the projects we work on. It’s not a huge place, but we’ve managed to fit in all the desks and filing cabinets we need. Most of the time, the team is out at different sites, so the office can feel a bit empty during the middle of the day. But when everyone is back, it’s a lot of talk about boilers, steam, and how to make things run more efficiently. We don't go in for much corporate jargon; we just talk about what works and what doesn't. The building is a bit older, which gives it some character, though the elevators can be a bit slow when you’re in a hurry. We’ve been based here for a while now and have become part of the local furniture, so to speak. It’s a practical location for us to coordinate our energy system projects from. We just show up, do the planning, handle the customer calls, and try to make sure everything is running the way it should be. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and we enjoy the challenge of solving technical problems.
