People usually find us when they are heading up towards Tungarli Lake. It's a bit of a climb getting here to 15 Pangoli, but that’s the whole point of being in the Thakurwadi area. We started this place because the views are decent and there’s a bit of quiet that you don't get down in the main town market. It gets foggy here sometimes, especially during the rains, which can make things a bit damp but it looks nice. We have a few rooms and some space for people to sit around. It isn't a massive five-star thing with gold trimmings. It’s just a spot on the hill where you can see the clouds moving by. Sometimes the road is a bit bumpy, so you have to drive slow. We mostly just keep things running and make sure people have a bed and a roof. If you walk out a bit, you’re right there by the lake. It's nothing too complicated. We’ve been around for a while now and most people come back because they like the air up here. The staff mostly lives nearby or knows the hills well. We don't have those big fancy lobbies, just a place that feels like it belongs in the mountains. You’ll probably see us around if you stay, maybe fixing a light or checking on the garden. It’s a simple life up here in Lonavala.
