The Green Gate Resort

The Green Gate Resort is tucked away at S No 42/6, near Dhokalwadi in Mulshi. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but that is sort of the point. We wanted a place that wasn't in the middle of a noisy city. It’s a quiet spot with a lot of trees and some hills nearby. We aren't a five-star hotel with gold faucets or anything. We’re more of a simple place where people come to sit outside and breathe some fresh air. The rooms are basic but clean, and we try to keep the garden looking nice. Sometimes the grass grows a bit too fast when it rains, so we’re always out there weeding. We have a small kitchen where we cook up some local food for whoever is staying. It’s not a fancy restaurant menu, just regular meals like you’d have at home. The staff are mostly local folks from around Dhokalwadi. We don't have a big marketing strategy. People usually just find out about us from their friends or by driving past the gate. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We don't have a lot of rules, just ask that people be respectful and enjoy the quiet. It’s just us running a small little resort in Mulshi, trying to give people a break from their busy lives.
