Fariyas Resorts

You can find Fariyas Resorts over at Tungarli, right at the Nh 4. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the traffic go by on the highway. Lonavala gets really crowded during the monsoon season, so we have to be ready for the rush. Most of our days are spent checking the rooms and making sure the outdoor areas haven't been ruined by the rain. It’s a big property, so there is always a roof to fix or a garden to trim. We aren't trying to sound like a fancy brochure. We are just the people who work here every day. We know the Nh 4 stretch very well. Sometimes the fog gets so thick you can barely see the entrance. We have a lot of staff from the nearby villages who help us keep the place running. It’s a lot of physical work, from carrying luggage to scrubbing the floors. We don't really have a mission statement. We just want to make sure the lights stay on and the guests have what they need. Being in Tungarli is nice because it’s a bit elevated, but it also means we have to deal with more wind and rain. We just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure the resort stays in one piece. We check the pool filters and sweep the lobby constantly. That’s just the way it goes when you run a place this size near the hills.
