Unison Insurance Broking Services Pvt Ltd is on the second floor of the Deccan Mall. We are at C 2 Karve Road. If you know the mall, you know it gets pretty crowded on the weekends but up here on the second floor it is usually a bit quieter. We spend our days looking at insurance papers and talking to people about their policies. It could be for a car or maybe a health plan. Most people who come in are a bit confused by all the terms and conditions. We just sit down and go through it with them. There are a few of us working here. The office has some computers and a lot of binders full of records. Karve Road is always full of traffic so you can hear the horns even from inside. We have been here for a while now. It's a lot of sitting and typing. Sometimes we have to call the insurance companies and wait on hold for a long time. That’s just part of the job. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just help people get their insurance sorted so they don't have to worry too much about it. There is a coffee machine in the corner that we use way too much. It’s just a normal workplace. We get in around nine and leave when the work is finished.
