Tornai Agro Producer Company Limited is located in Chikhli, specifically at Gaurakshan Wadi. We use Ankushrao Patil’s place in Ward Number 18 as our home base. It’s just a regular house in a regular neighborhood. A group of us from around Chikhli decided to start this because we were tired of working on our own. It is better to have a few more hands when it comes to dealing with the markets. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table after the day's chores are finished. We talk about what seeds to buy or how to get the crops to the city. The place is often busy with neighbors coming in and out to ask questions. We don't use any high-tech systems. We just write things down in notebooks and hope for good rain. Farming here can be tough, but having this company makes us feel like we have a bit more of a plan. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big promises. We are just local people who know how to grow things and want to make sure we can keep doing it. If you walk down Gaurakshan Wadi, you will find us easily enough. We are usually busy with something, but there is always time for a quick chat about the season.
