We operate out of Survey No. 59 in Pangavhan, which is in the Karanja taluka. If you’re looking for us, we are right near the Z.P. Primary School. Tirthrup Agro Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us farmers who decided to work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing. You can hear the kids playing at the school during their breaks while we sit in our meeting room. It’s a very rural setting. Most of what we do involves figuring out how to get our crops to market without losing too much money. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and the weather constantly. The building is simple and doesn’t have much in the way of decoration. We have a lot of dust because the roads around here aren't all paved. When the harvest comes, the place gets very hectic with people bringing in their produce to be sorted. It’s a lot of physical labor. We don't have fancy titles or big offices. We just sit around a table and figure things out. Sometimes we have to wait a long time for the rain, and those are the stressful months. Being near the school makes us feel like part of the village’s daily life. It’s a small operation, but it means a lot to the people involved in it here in Pangavhan. We keep things simple and focus on the work at hand.
