Timber Treasures

Timber Treasures is located at 101 Wanawadi in Kalol. We’ve been set up here in Gandhinagar for a while now. Living and working in Gujarat means you get used to the dry heat and the busy markets. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s full of wood. We deal with all sorts of timber. It’s a messy business with sawdust everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. Most of the time, it's just the sound of the saws or trucks pulling up. We don't really go in for fancy slogans. People come here because they need wood for a project or their house. We show them what we have and they pick what they like. It’s a basic way of doing business but it works for us. The family helps out when things get busy. Sometimes we're here late finishing an order. It’s hard on the hands, but it’s honest. Kalol is a good place to be, and we know our neighbors well. We’ve seen a lot of people start building things from scratch and it’s nice to be a small part of that. No big corporate nonsense here, just wood and the tools to cut it. We’re easy to talk to if you need help with a measurement. We don't mind if you just want to browse around the stacks for a while either. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
