The Smart Beauty Parlour

The Smart Beauty Parlour is a small shop located at Shop No 01 on Mannusha Masjid Road. We are right in Nana Peth, very close to the well-known Kadar Bhai Chowk in Pune. This area is always buzzing with people and vehicles, so there’s never a dull moment outside our door. The shop itself is quite modest. We have been here for some time now, serving the local women who live in the old wadas and the newer apartments around Nana Peth. It’s a very traditional part of the city. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or expensive leather chairs. Everything is functional and simple. We do hair cutting, basic makeup for small functions, and the usual threading and waxing. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly what to expect when they walk in. I handle most of the work myself, though sometimes I have a helper on busy days like Sundays or during the wedding season. The street outside is narrow, so it’s better if you walk or come on a two-wheeler. We don't have a big sign, just the name on the shutter. It’s a humble place where we try to do a good job without making a big fuss about it. If you are looking for a place that feels like home and doesn't charge crazy prices, that’s us.
