We are set up over at Chincholi Bunder Road in Erandwane. It's house number 55. The place is basically just rows of computers and a lot of tangled wires tucked away in the back of the room. We focus on teaching people how routers and networks actually function in the real world. It’s not the most exciting thing to talk about at a dinner party, but it’s what we do here every single day. Students come in, sit down, and try to figure out why a connection isn't working the way it should. It gets very quiet in the rooms when everyone is concentrating on their screens and trying to solve a problem. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and the local folks know us as the computer guys. The air conditioning is always running because the machines get so warm during the afternoon classes. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny lobby with a fountain. It’s just a practical space for learning a new trade. Sometimes we spend hours just troubleshooting a single network problem that won't go away. It takes a lot of patience to work with hardware and software all day long. We see people from all walks of life trying to learn a new skill to get a better job for themselves. It’s a bit cramped when the classes are full, but we make it work somehow. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or crimping cables. It’s honest work for us.
