The Little Hair Salon

The Little Hair Salon sits in Row House Number 2 at Gera Terraces 1. We are located over in Viman Nagar. If you know where the HDFC Bank at Datta Mandir Chowk is, you have basically found us because we are right next to it. It is a relatively quiet spot compared to the main road. The shop is small, just like the name says. We have a couple of chairs and a small waiting area that usually has some old magazines lying around on the table. It feels more like a house than a big commercial shop because it is a row house after all. We get a lot of people from the nearby apartments coming in. Most of them we know by name by now. It is usually just the sound of scissors clipping and maybe a hairdryer going in the back room. Sometimes the bank next door gets a big crowd and it gets a bit loud outside our front door. We try to keep things tidy but hair gets everywhere during a busy afternoon and we have to sweep every twenty minutes. The light comes in quite nicely through the front door in the mornings. We do not have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us working through the day. Sometimes we run behind schedule if a particular haircut takes longer than we thought it would. That is just part of life here.
