The Interior Architect

We've been over here at Maximus 7 in Kasba Peth for a while now. It’s a busy part of town, which keeps us on our toes most days. Usually, we are just sitting around the table looking at floor plans or talking to people about how to make their rooms work a bit better. It isn't always about making things look fancy; sometimes it's just figuring out where a cupboard should go so people don't trip over it in the dark. We deal with the usual mess and dust that comes with fixing up an old place. People often come in with ideas they saw on the internet, and we have to see if those things actually fit their house or their budget. It’s mostly us drawing things out and then heading out to check on how the masonry or woodwork is going. The office is pretty simple. We don't have a big front desk or anyone to greet you with a coffee. It’s just a place where we get the work done. Sometimes the weather makes site visits a bit of a pain, but that's just part of living here. We know the local shops and where to get the right wood or tiles without too much trouble. Kasba Peth has its own rhythm, and we've gotten used to the noise and the way things move around here. If someone needs a hand with their interiors, they usually just drop by. (246 words)
