The Hair Diaries

The Hair Diaries is located in A Wing of Hermes Vishal, right on Lane 7 in Koregaon Park. If you know Pune, you know Lane 7 is usually pretty busy with cars and people walking around. We have been in this spot for a bit, and we have grown to like the vibe of the neighborhood. The shop is not massive, but we have made it comfortable. We have our mirrors set up and the chairs arranged so there is enough room to move around. It gets quite lively in here, especially on Saturday afternoons when everyone wants to get their hair done at the same time. There is usually a lot of chatting going on, and we always have some coffee or tea ready for anyone waiting. We do not go in for all that high-end corporate talk. We just like hair and making sure people leave feeling a bit better than when they walked in. Sometimes the AC acts up when it is really humid outside, but we try to keep it cool for everyone. We have a lot of regulars who live right here in Koregaon Park, and we know most of their stories by heart. It is more like a community spot than a stiff salon. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or lights. We just keep our tools sharp and our towels clean. It is a good way to spend the day, working with our hands.
