Our studio is located on the second floor of Rachana House. It is right there on F C Road, which everyone in Pune knows is one of the busiest spots you can be in. We are near Sagar Arcade, so there is always a lot of noise and energy coming up from the street. Being on the second floor gives us a little bit of distance from the crowds, but it is still a very active place. This is where we have our head office and our main hair studio. We have several stylists working at once because the demand on Fergusson College Road is always high. You get a lot of young people here who want the latest styles they saw on the internet. It can get pretty cramped when the shop is full and everyone is talking over the sound of the hair dryers. We have been at this location for a good while now. The building is a bit older, so the lift sometimes has a mind of its own, but most people just take the stairs. We stay busy from the moment we open until we shut the doors late at night. It is not a place for a quiet nap, that is for sure. We just focus on cutting hair and doing beauty work for whoever walks in. It is a lot of standing on our feet, but we are used to it by now.
