Tanmay Clinic

The clinic is over at Abhijit Apartment in Hadapsar. We are at number 9. It is a quiet little place compared to the big hospitals. When you walk into Tanmay Clinic, you will find a small waiting area with a few chairs and some old magazines. We try to keep it clean, but with people coming in from the dusty streets all day, it is a constant job. The walls are a plain color and we have a few charts hanging up. It is mostly local people from Hadapsar who come to see us. We know many of them by name now. It is not just about the medicine, but also about listening to how their families are doing. The apartment setup makes it feel more personal, like you are visiting a neighbor rather than a cold institution. We have a small desk for the registrations and a private room for the check-ups. The fan overhead usually makes a bit of a clicking sound as it spins. Sometimes there is a wait, and people sit and chat with each other. It is a modest place where we do our best to help whoever walks in. We do not have any high-tech gadgets or fancy lights. It is just a simple neighborhood clinic where we provide basic care to the folks living around here. There is a small plant in the corner that we forget to water sometimes.
