Tamboli Brothers

Tamboli Brothers has been a fixture on Station Road for a long time. You can find us in Somwar Peth, not too far from the old Appolo Theater. It’s a very busy spot because of the theater and the railway station nearby. There is always a lot of foot traffic, which keeps us on our toes. We are a simple shop, run by brothers, and we don't bother with anything too complicated. We stock the usual grocery items, snacks, and some bottled drinks for people catching trains or heading home. The shop is tucked into a busy stretch of the road, and sometimes it gets quite crowded inside when several people come in at once. We don't have a fancy website or any marketing. People just know we are here because they pass by every day. The building we are in is quite old, and we’ve had to fix the roof a few times. It’s just part of running a local business in an old part of Pune. We open up early and stay open until the last show at the theater starts to wind down. It’s a long day, but we enjoy talking to the different people who stop by. From students to office workers, everyone comes through Somwar Peth. We just try to keep the prices fair and the shelves full. It’s a simple way of living and working for us. We have grown up in this area and plan to stay here.
