Borse & Sons is situated at 3 Thathawade, Nagdevi Cross Lane, right in the Shrirang Vihar area. We are located directly opposite the Sandip Petrol Pump, which is a good landmark because the lane itself is very narrow and crowded. Our shop has been a family business for a long time, as the name suggests. We deal with various types of industrial hardware and it is a very busy place to work. The shop is quite small and every inch of wall space is covered with shelves holding tools, nuts, bolts, and other equipment. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it, but we have a system that works for us. Nagdevi is famous for being a hub for hardware, so the competition is always there, but we have our regular customers who have been coming to us for years. We don't have a modern computer system to track everything; we mostly rely on our memory and some handwritten ledgers. The street outside is always full of handcarts and people carrying heavy loads, so getting in and out can be a challenge. We just keep our heads down and focus on helping the person standing in front of the counter. It is a traditional way of doing business and it has served us well. We aren't interested in being fancy, just in being a reliable part of the local market.
