Tamarind Agritech Private Limited

Tamarind Agritech Private Limited is based out of Pune, specifically in the Ambegaon area. Our office is in the Omkar Swarup building, Flat 105, on the first floor. It’s located at Survey Number 33/5B/3 in Dattang. While we are in a big city like Pune, our hearts are still very much tied to the soil. We focus on agritech, which basically means we look for better ways to handle farming through a bit of technology. We aren't a massive tech firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us working out of this apartment. We spend a lot of time on our computers but also a lot of time visiting farms outside the city. Pune is a busy place, and being in Ambegaon keeps us close to the highway which is handy for getting out to the rural areas. The office is usually filled with papers, some samples, and a few desks. It’s not very organized, but we know where everything is. We started this because we saw how much technology could actually help a regular farmer if it wasn't too complicated. We try to keep things grounded and useful. People sometimes call us to ask for advice or to see what we are working on. We don't have a big front desk or anything. It’s just us, trying to bridge that gap between the city and the farm. It’s honest work and we enjoy the challenge of it.
