Sameer Traders

Our place is located on the Chikhali-Dehu Road, right near the Bharat Weight Bridge. We’re in the Shelawasti area of the M.I.D.C. in Talwade. It’s a very industrial part of the region, so there are big trucks and lorries moving around everywhere you look. We are traders, which basically means we spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the latest shipments that come in. The Bharat Weight Bridge is a really good landmark for us because almost everyone in the area knows exactly where it is. Our office is very simple, just some basic desks and a small corner to store some of the items we deal with. The air around here is always a bit heavy with the smell of the nearby factories and the dust from the road. We try to start our work early in the morning to avoid the worst of the traffic on the Dehu Road. It’s not a glamorous job at all, but it’s what we know how to do. We have a small, tight-knit crew and we’ve worked together for a long time. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs for a bit when the weather is clear. We deal with various suppliers and customers throughout the working day. The building is just a standard industrial unit with a metal roof. We don’t bother with any decorations or fancy signs. It’s just about work. We keep moving every day in Talwade.
