Blast O Tech

We are based out in Chakan, which is a place that never really stays quiet because of all the big factories and trucks moving around. Blast O Tech is a simple setup where we focus on the technical side of industrial work, specifically things like grit blasting and cleaning metal parts. Our unit isn't huge, but it is enough for the machines we need to run. Most of the day is spent wearing heavy gear and dealing with a lot of dust and noise. It is the kind of job where you are on your feet for hours and your back starts to ache by the afternoon. Chakan is quite a distance from the main city area, so we mostly interact with the other industrial shops nearby. The air out here is always a bit thick with the smell of metal and exhaust. We started this because there was a lot of demand for technical cleaning in this area. We don't have a front desk or a waiting room, just the shop floor where the work happens. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day just getting them back in order. It is a tough environment to work in, but we have a good rhythm going now. We usually take a break at the small tea stall down the street when the heat gets to be too much.
