Takewondo Uniform

Our little shop is tucked away in Raviwar Peth, specifically at the 12th Cross on 24th Main. It is number 486, right near Budhawar Chowk. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here. The lanes are narrow and always full of people and scooters. We focus on Takewondo Uniform items. It is a very specific thing to sell. We have rows of white suits in different sizes. Some are tiny for the five-year-olds just starting out. Others are much larger. The fabric is heavy cotton and it gets quite dusty in here from all the material. We spend a lot of time folding things back up after someone tries them on. It is mostly quiet during the day, then gets busy in the evenings when classes are about to start. Parents come in worried about the length of the trousers or if the belt color is exactly right. We don't have any fancy displays. Just the uniforms and a small stool to sit on. Sometimes we have to hunt through the stacks to find a specific size. It’s just how the shop is. We’ve been here for years, watching the kids grow from white belts to black belts. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't do much talking except to explain how the ties on the side work. If you need a uniform, you just come to the chowk and ask for the uniform place.
