Our small office is tucked away in Kothrud, right behind the Janpath Complex 2. It’s a place where students come after their college lectures to sit and go through their accounting books. Tagad Commerce Classes started because there was a need for a quiet spot to study these subjects around here. We have a few benches, some whiteboards that never seem to get perfectly clean, and stacks of old question papers piled up in the corner. Most days, it’s just the sound of pens scratching on paper and the occasional ceiling fan humming. We don't do anything flashy. The students come in, find their seats, and we get to work on whatever chapter is bothering them that week. Kothrud can get pretty noisy outside, but inside we try to keep things focused. Sometimes parents drop by to ask how their kids are doing, and we just tell them the truth about the test scores. We don’t have a big reception desk or fancy brochures. It's just a place for learning numbers and commerce rules. We spend a lot of time marking papers and drinking tea between the batches. It’s been this way for a while now. The afternoon sun hits the windows, so we usually keep the curtains pulled halfway. It feels like a real community here once you get used to the routine of the daily classes and the exams. We just keep our heads down and do the teaching.
