T 4 Academy

T 4 Academy is over in Bibwewadi, at T/105. It’s not a huge building or anything, just a couple of rooms where we get things done. We’ve been here for a while, and most people in the neighborhood know the spot. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to be careful when you’re coming up. Inside, it’s mostly just chairs, tables, and a few whiteboards that have seen better days. It smells like old paper and ink most of the time. We aren't some big institution with hundreds of staff members. It’s just a few of us trying to keep things moving. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people find out about us through word of mouth. Bibwewadi is a lively place, and we fit right in. There’s a tea shop downstairs that we visit way too often during our breaks. The classrooms aren't soundproof, so you can always hear the street noise, but it adds to the local atmosphere. We like the honesty of the place. There’s no pretense here. We just show up, do our work, and talk to the people who come in to see us. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, and we keep saying we’ll call someone to fix them, but then we get busy with something else. It’s a real place with real people. We’ve seen many faces come through that door and they all have different stories.
