Syntel

Syntel is located on Gurudwara Road in Lohegaon. It’s a busy part of Pune, especially with the airport so close by. You can hear the planes taking off all day if you’re not wearing headphones. Our office is at S.No 169/1. It’s a pretty basic place, honestly. We have our desks set up in rows and there’s always a bit of a mess with cables under the tables. The traffic getting here in the morning is usually a nightmare, so most of us arrive a bit grumpy until we’ve had some chai. There’s a small shop nearby where we get snacks. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and typing away. It’s not the kind of place with a gym or a fancy lounge. We just have a small corner with a kettle and some biscuits. Sometimes the lift makes a weird noise, so some people prefer the stairs. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There used to be more open space, but now it’s all buildings. We don't really have big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the desks when something needs fixing. It’s a quiet enough place to work once you get settled in. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the daily tasks that keep the business going. It’s just us here in Pune, doing our work every day.
