Sweet Heart

Sweet Heart is a little place we have over at 7 Akurdi. It’s not a huge shop, just a small spot where we keep things running. The address is quite simple since we’ve been here in Akurdi for a while now. Most people around here know where we are. We don’t have a lot of fancy signs or big displays. It’s just a regular shop where you can find a few things you might need. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet during the day, but then in the evenings, it picks up when people are heading home from work. I spend a lot of time just tidying up the shelves or chatting with the neighbors who stop by for a minute. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a small business trying to do okay. The space is small, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so nothing falls over. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a bit messy, but we keep the inside as neat as we can. There’s no big team or corporate office, just a person or two making sure the door stays open and the customers get what they came for. It’s a simple life in a simple shop. Nothing more and nothing less. We like being part of the Akurdi community and seeing the kids grow up over the years. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next person to walk in.
