Swasthya Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Kati village. Our office is at number 668. This is in the Indapur Taluka within the Pune district. It’s a farming area through and through. A bunch of us got together because it made sense to work as one group rather than all alone. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just wanted a way to manage our farm produce better. Being in Indapur, we have our own way of doing things. The soil here is what we know best. Sometimes the water is an issue, but we manage. Most days you’ll find someone at the Kati office just sorting things out or talking to someone who stopped by. We don’t have fancy chairs or a big reception. It is just a place to get work done. We deal with the local farmers around here mostly. It’s a community thing really. We have been at 668 for a while now. If you are looking for us, just ask anyone in Kati for the producer company. They usually know where it is located. We try to be helpful to the members when they bring their stuff in. It’s not always easy but it is real work. We don't spend money on big ads or stuff like that. We just focus on the farming and the people here in the village. It is a slow life but we like it.
