Swaraj Education

Swaraj Education is located at Prestine Point 283 in Shukrawar Peth. It’s another one of those busy spots in Pune where there’s always something going on outside the window. Our space is pretty standard for a local coaching center. We have a few rooms divided by thin partitions. You can sometimes hear what’s happening in the next room if the teacher is talking loudly, but everyone just ignores it and focuses on their own work. We have a lot of plastic chairs that we move around depending on how many students show up for a particular session. The floor is usually covered in a bit of white chalk dust by the end of the day. We have a small cupboard where we keep all the registers and the keys for the office. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a familiar route for most of the people who come here every day. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few maps and maybe a clock that’s always five minutes fast. Usually, we start around eight in the morning and keep going until the sun goes down and the last student leaves. It’s a regular routine of teaching, checking work, and answering the same questions. Sometimes we have to fix a fan or change a lightbulb, just the usual maintenance things. It’s a local place where we just get the job done.
