Swara Agritech Producer Company Limited is based over at Appasaheb Mule’s place in Bhalegaon, which is part of the Ambad area in Jalna. We are just local farmers who have lived in this part of the state for our whole lives. Around here, we have to deal with a lot of dry weather, so we started this company to help everyone manage their resources a bit better. We spend a lot of time talking about water and how to keep the crops alive when things get tough. Our office isn't much more than a room where we keep our records and meet up after a long day in the fields. We don't use any big corporate talk because that isn't who we are. We are just people who want to make sure our families are taken care of and that the farm stays in good shape for the next generation. We help out with getting the right fertilizers and seeds, and we try to find ways to sell our harvest together so we have more weight behind us. It’s a slow process, but we’ve seen that working as a unit is much better than trying to fight the market on your own. Most people in Bhalegaon know who we are and what we’re trying to do. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
