Suvidha Stationary is at 44 Gai Mukh in Ambegaon Khurd. We have been here for a bit and it's a nice little spot. The shelves are packed with notebooks and all kinds of pens. Kids come in after school and they usually have a lot of energy. It gets a bit loud when they are all trying to pick out stickers or pencils. We spend a lot of time counting out loose papers or finding that one specific eraser someone wants. The counter is a bit scratched up from years of use. We don't have any fancy computer systems here. Everything is done by hand or just kept in our heads. Ambegaon Khurd is a growing place but our corner feels pretty much the same. The sun hits the front window in the morning and it gets quite bright inside. We usually have to move some of the paper so it doesn't fade. Sometimes the door sticks a little when it's raining outside. We don't mind it much. It’s just part of being in an older building. We enjoy the routine of opening up and seeing who comes through the door. There’s always someone needing a last-minute pen or a birthday card. We keep things simple and try to have what people are looking for. It’s not a complicated business but it keeps us busy from morning until we close the shop at night. We have a small radio that mostly plays local news. It fills the space.
