Suresh Press Works

People usually find us easily enough because of the noise from the machines. We are based at D 111 in the Chinchwad area, which is pretty industrial and always busy with trucks moving around. My father started Suresh Press Works years ago, and we’ve just kept it going. The floor is always a bit oily, and there is metal scrap piled up in the corners until the collection truck comes by. We don’t have a fancy office or air conditioning; it’s just a workshop where we get the jobs done. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot, especially since the tin roof makes it warm inside by noon. We mostly handle small press parts and manual work that needs a steady hand. If you walk past, you’ll probably see a couple of us in greasy overalls drinking tea during the break. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s what we know. Chinchwad has changed a lot, with new buildings coming up, but our little corner remains much the same. We focus on getting the dimensions right so the parts fit where they are supposed to. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a lever or oiling the gears. It's just how a press shop runs. We don't spend money on signs or big ads because people around here already know where we are located and what we do.
