Sunny Rubber Products

Sunny Rubber Products is located right behind Padwal Hospital on Akurdi Church Road. We’ve been at this address, number 1318, for a good long time now. The workshop stays pretty dusty because of all the rubber we cut and mold throughout the day. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to make these parts. We mostly deal with local industrial needs, making gaskets, seals, and other bits and pieces that people need for their machinery. The machines we use are old but they still work just fine if you treat them right. Sometimes the smell of burnt rubber gets stuck in your clothes, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. My hands are usually stained by the end of the shift. We aren’t a huge factory with hundreds of workers, just a tight group that knows how to handle the material. People usually find us because they’re looking for a specific part they can’t get elsewhere. We don’t spend much time on the computer; we’d rather be at the bench working. If you walk past the hospital and head down the road, you’ll hear the sound of the presses going. It’s a steady kind of work. We try to keep things organized, though the piles of scraps can grow pretty fast during a busy week. It’s a practical business for practical needs. We just do our work and go home. People know where to find us if they need something made.
