Sunflower Beauty Parlour

Sunflower Beauty Parlour is located on Kedari Road in the Camp area of Pune. We are right by Babajan Chowk, so there is always a lot of activity outside. You can hear the sounds of the Dargah and the people shopping in the bazaar all day long. The shop itself is quite modest. We have a couple of chairs and the usual tools for hair and skin care. It’s the kind of place where you don't have to dress up to come in. Most of our clients are women from the local neighborhood who just want their hair trimmed or their eyebrows shaped. We have a small television in the corner that’s usually playing some songs or a serial. Sometimes the place gets a bit crowded, especially on Sunday mornings, but nobody seems to mind waiting a bit. We talk about the price of vegetables or the weather while we work. It feels more like a community gathering spot than a formal business. The floor gets a bit messy with hair during the day, but we sweep it up when we can. We’ve been at this spot for years and the sign outside is a bit faded now. But everyone in Babajan Dargah Chowk knows where we are. We don't do any big promotions. We just offer a simple service at a fair price for the people around here.
