Our group is based out of Massa Kkalamb, right at house 750. It’s a group of us who actually farm the land and decided to get organized together. Most days, you’ll find some of the guys hanging around the office talking about the weather or the price of grain. It started because things were getting hard for individual farmers to manage on their own. We figured if we pooled what we had, maybe we'd have a better shot. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy about the office at all. We mostly just focus on what the crops need and how to get them to the market without losing too much money. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we manage. Everyone here knows each other’s families and which fields belong to who. It’s quiet out here in Kkalamb, which suits us just fine. We don't spend much on advertising because people know where we are. If you drive down the main road, you’ll see us soon enough. It's tough work, and some years are better than others depending on the rain. We just take it day by day. There's always something to fix or a tractor that won't start, so we stay busy enough without looking for extra trouble. It’s just how life goes for us here. We don't need much more than that to keep going.
