Suman Plastic

The warehouse for Suman Plastic is right on Pimpri Deonar Farm Road, and you can usually tell you're close by the sight of all the bins stacked up outside. We deal with a lot of different plastic goods, from heavy-duty crates to smaller household items that people need every day. The road outside gets pretty dusty when the big trucks roll through, so we spend a good chunk of the morning just dusting off the inventory. It’s a practical place, filled with the smell of new poly materials and the sound of packing tape being pulled. My desk is tucked away in the back where I keep track of what’s coming in and what’s heading out to the local shops. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some calendars on the wall and a small clock that’s five minutes fast. Sometimes the neighbors from the farms nearby stop in to see if we have any specific containers for their produce. We just walk through the aisles together to find what works. It is mostly just hard work and moving boxes around all day. The lights inside flicker a bit when the heavy machinery next door starts up, but we’re used to it by now. It is just the way things are in this part of Pimpri. We make sure the orders are packed tight so nothing breaks during transport, and that’s about all there is to it.
