Sudarshan Chemical Industries

Located at Camp 162, this is where we run Sudarshan Chemical Industries. The building is old and made of heavy brick, which keeps it somewhat cool even when the sun is beating down on the Camp area. It’s an industrial sort of place, so you won’t find any comfortable chairs or decorations here. There’s a heavy metal gate at the front that squeaks whenever someone pulls it open. Inside, there are big drums and containers stacked along the walls, and the floor has some stains that won’t ever come out. We focus on getting the orders filled and the trucks loaded. The air has a sharp, clean smell to it that you get used to after working here for a week or two. My desk is tucked into a corner under a small lamp because the main lights don't reach that far. We use a lot of handwritten logs to keep track of what's going in and out. It’s a noisy place when the machinery is running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the din. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and does the job. There isn't much to see if you're just passing by, just a working warehouse and a lot of heavy lifting every day.
