We’re located over in Narayan Peth, at 510A in the Kashinath Apartments. It’s a bit of an older building, but it serves us well for what we do. Shree Shubhlaxmi Dye has been part of this neighborhood for quite a while. Narayan Peth is a place with a lot of history and narrow streets that can be tricky. You have to know where you’re going to find us. Inside, there’s always the smell of the materials we work with every day. It’s not a huge space, so things can get a bit tight when we have a lot of stock sitting around. We spend our days dealing with colors and fabrics. It’s hands-on work. Our hands are usually stained by the end of the day. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. We just work together to get the orders finished on time. The light in the apartment isn't always the best, so we use extra lamps to see what we’re doing clearly. People from the area know us by name. We don't do any flashy advertising or social media stuff. If you want to talk to us, you just walk in or give us a ring on the old landline. It’s a quiet life mostly, aside from the general noise of the street outside. We just focus on the task at hand. It’s about doing the job properly and moving on to the next one. That’s how we’ve always done it here.
