You can find Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd. up on the 7th floor of the Eleven West Panchshil building. We are located near the old PAN Card Club Road in the Baner area of Pune. Working from the 7th floor gives us a decent view of the traffic crawling along the road below, which is a common sight in this part of Maharashtra. The office is a busy place with people constantly moving between desks and meeting rooms. We deal with a lot of chemical processes and pigments, so there are always technical reports and data sheets being passed around. Even though it is a bigger company, the daily feel of the office is just people trying to keep up with their schedules. We have a lot of computers running and some lab results usually waiting for review on someone's screen. The elevators can be slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work at the same time. We don't have much in the way of fancy office art, just some functional furniture and plenty of filing cabinets. The neighborhood of Baner has changed a lot since we moved in, with more buildings going up all around us. We spend our days coordinating with different departments and making sure our records are kept straight. It is a professional environment, but it feels like a regular workplace once you get settled into your chair for the morning.
