Subodh Classes

Model Colony is a nice part of Pune, and our place at 1123/B has been part of the landscape for some time now. Subodh Classes is what you’d call a traditional coaching spot. We don't have neon signs or big advertisements on the walls. We just have our name on the gate and the sound of lessons going on inside. The rooms have that old-school feel with wooden benches and plenty of dust from the chalk we use on the boards. We’ve taught many batches of students over the years, and it’s always interesting to see how things stay the same even as the subjects get harder. We aren't a big institution with branches everywhere. We are just here in this one spot, doing what we know. The students come in after their regular school day, often looking a bit worn out, so we try to get straight to the point. We cover the syllabus, go through the exercises, and answer whatever questions come up. It’s a simple routine. We know the parents and we know the local schools. Sometimes we stay late to help someone who is really stuck on a problem. There’s no polish to what we do, it’s just teaching and learning in a way that’s worked for us for a long time. It’s a quiet, steady way to make a living.
