Subhod Classes

Subhod Classes is located right by Pmt Chowk on Gadi Road in the Bhosari area. If you know this part of Pune, you know how hectic it gets around the bus stop at almost any hour. Our place is tucked in right there, and we’ve been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. It’s mostly just us and the students sitting around the tables. The floor is tile and it’s easy to sweep, which is a good thing because a lot of dust comes in from the road. We usually have the door open to get a breeze, though you can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. It’s not a large space, but we make it work by scheduling different groups at different times throughout the morning and evening. There’s a small desk at the front where we keep the records and the spare pens. Sometimes we have to remind the students to park their cycles properly so they don't block the narrow path outside for the neighbors. Most of the work here is just going over lessons and making sure everyone has their notes in order. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that we keep on high during the summer months. It gets pretty warm in Pune, but we just drink a lot of water and keep going. We just focus on the books and try to stay organized.
